GREAT FALLS, Montana - May 15, 2003 - Sofast Communications,
Montana’s premier Internet service provider, announced today
that it has official launched it’s Sofast Intuitive Management
System (SIMS) and SIMS.lite product to the general public.
The SIMS service provides a turn-key approach to providing high-speed
Internet service into private cable operations. Geared towards private
cable operators (PCOs) and real-estate developers that operate their
own cable networks, SIMS provides a multitude of services which
make high-speed internet deployments viable.
SIMS provides many robust ISP related services to both PCOs and
their end users. These services include subscriber management, end-user
technical support, email and web-hosting, trouble ticket administration,
CRM, headend management, Internet backbone connectivity, installation
and training. Many of the services can be purchased ala-cart to
meet the needs of the PCO or as an entire turn-key solution.
SIMS.lite for hotels and resorts provides tier 1 technical support
to hospitality locations providing high-speed internet connections
in their rooms, eliminating the need and cost to train personnel.
The SIMS portfolio of products are designed to provide end-users
with the highest levels of customer satisfaction for a fraction
of the cost of supplying similar services in-house. In addition,
SIMS Subscriber Management provide the most robust network management
tools available today to DOCSIS based deployments.
Pricing and Availability
Pricing and additional information about SIMS is available on Sofast’s
web site at www.sofast.net/sims.
Pricing is primarily based on a per-subscriber, per-month basis
starting at only $6 per subscriber. SIMS and SIMS.lite are available
today.
SIMS.billing, providing integrated and automated billing support
will be available July 15, 2003.
